Our activities have included a Zombie Fun Run - it was the coldest day since we've been here and it snowed six inches! Indoors (gratefully) we played musical chairs, carved pumpkins, ate junk food, and taught the children how to play "trick or treat." Even the young adults wanted to get in on that game!
Fortunately, Jacque is a great cook and made cupcakes. Her first attempt to bake in our micro-sized oven was a success! And then she made a Texas sheet cake which was another crowd pleaser.
The last two weeks have been what we expect to be more of our norm. We have lots to do and some flexibility with our time. We are learning to work together even better, value our differences, learn from our mistakes and enjoy the successes when they come. We are starting to plan Thanksgiving and Christmas programs and are looking forward to the Season of Giving.
